If you are craving Mexican food in Greenwood or on the Southside of Indianapolis, you can't go wrong with Leon's Mexican Grill. It has become our family's Mexican food standby. We have found the flavor to be superior to other Mexican restaurants and the portions are larger. They have all of the normal Mexican dishes, cocktails, and more. The price is very reasonable. Tonight my wife and I split "The Molcajete" Just think about a Steak, Chicken and Shrimp Fajita on massive steroids. This is an awesome dish. The portions are out of this world. My wife and I split one and dropped the leftovers off to our son. He had enough still for a good meal. I have never had a bad meal there.

Millie McGee's Gosport Diner Restaurant Millie McGee's is not in Indianapolis, but in Gosport, Indiana, a small town about 45-50 southwest of Indianapolis but worth the drive. If you are looking for good catfish, or one of the best breaded tenderloins you have ever ate, I highly recommend it. They have a pretty full menu of comfort food and homemade desserts. You will want to try a little bit of everything. This is the Gosport Burger and my wife got an Omelet that really looked good.

5TH AVE Grill and Bar Beech Grove, Indiana-5th Ave Grill and Bar is located right in the heart of Beech Grove (on the near southeast side of Indianapolis). They are a local owned joint that is known for the great Pizza's, Smashburger, Tenderloins, Hand Battered fried mushrooms, chicken wings and so much more. This is a great place to go if you want a great cocktail, cold beer, or a good bite to eat (kids are welcome). Twin Peaks Restaurant-Greenwood, Indiana

Twin Peaks Restaurant-Greenwood, Indiana Twin Peaks is a sport oriented restaurant/bar (think Hooters-only better). This place has hot waitresses, and you can still take kids in here. We love the food and my wife loves the cheap drinks. I highly recommend Twin Peaks. Below are pics of our food from our last trip there. First is the Smoked Chicken Quesadilla. My wife swears by them. Next is an order of naked wings my son ordered and they were pretty good. Then there is my favorite, the Philly Cheesesteak. It is real good.
